i recently changed my oil and did not know how much it held accidently overfilled and was driving along and noticed smoke rolling out looked underneath and it appear to have pushed oil out the rear seal and stopped has anyone else had this problem

Never happened to me before. How long did you run it after the seal popped?
Try running some seal conditioner through it before you give up. Mobil1 High Mileage contains this stuff, and it really works well.
I've heard in the past that over-filling causes a high-pressure condition - this might be illustrating that.
