transmission mounts ??? thats the first thing id check..
A bit more information would make it easier to help you.
When is it doing this?? Under power, or slowing down??
What speed?
Are all your tyres exactly the same size, wear condition, and tyre pressures the same??
All these will give us a better understanding of what might be happening.

it seems to be during takeoff under acceleration all tires are the same size and worn evenly no is not the mounts is in the transmission for sure is like it kicks out and then in
Is it only doing it between 1 and 2? Any chance it is happening to a lesser degree 2 to 3, 3 to 2 and so on? Does it happen all the time or sporadically?
Experiment: When your VX does this take a look at your dash lights and see if the gear indicators are flickering the wrong gears.
Though it sounds on the surface not to be the mode switch, do a search on the forum for it... see if anyone's experience with hard shifting sounds like your situation.
i did notice the shift indicator lights changing whe i took off is this the mode switch if so where is it located anyone else had this problem
