Yea, but looks like the money went for a good cause:yeso:
I am not sure I believe it went for a good cause. I think it went to someone trying to bank off the cause.
The next time I sell a big ticket and am going to throw in a one line charity spot.
Wow, I have that same one still in the package!
Well the weird part is I bought a red one from the same person for 4.50 including shipping and I was the only bidder:confused:

Wow, I bought a lot of 15 brand new in package, various colors for 20 bucks with S&H last year on Ebay. I gave most away at Moab last year, they were left by the Easter Bunny on the windshields of those staying at Portal.
here is another one already at $5.50 with 4 days to go...
we have 2 protons and 1 kaiser... paid $1.99/ea
It sold for $3.79, and there's another listed for $3.25 BIN...
I don't know anything about that collector world, but maybe that "edition" "series" or whatever was valuable....or the animal charity thing really worked well, or they didn't search to see if there were others on ebay. I've seen that a million times...bidders bidding up an item higher than the amount you can buy the identical item elsewhere on ebay as a Buy It Now...:_confused
I too am kinda skeptical that the money will end up in that organization's hands...
There might have been 30 bids but there was only two bidders.
Most likely a buddy of the seller running the $$ up and 1 crazy actual bidder..
^^^ That's what I figured too ^^^ Or a group of his animal loving friends from Facebook.
