Overhead light...

I opened the door to my truck tonight and the light never came on. I tried taping it to turn it on and nothing. I finally gave up and just drove home. When I got home I took the cover off, fiddled with the light bulb alittle and then put the cover back on, it still wouldn't come on by tapping. Then when I opened my door it all of a sudden came on. Is this issue indicitive of another problem or do you think it was just a bad bulb or somthing? The weird thing was I couldn't get it to come on after messing with it until I opened the door. It seems to be the only light affected and so far its only happend this once.

Has this happend to anyone else? Any thoughts or ideas?

Loose ground behind the light or a failing bulb. Could also have something to do with a sticking switch on the door jam but even with that bad the light should come on with a push. If the cover is not installed correctly, the light will not come on by tapping it I know.
