Road War (PBkid, ignore this thread)
So, last week the wife and I went down to Johnson Valley for the first "Road War Weekend Event". This was a 3 day event of Mad Max fandom. All in all, I had a decent time, but the turnout was a lot less than what I expected. I would have been happy just going for the main day, Saturday.
However, regardless of all that, the entire event was made worth while as I got a ride in Paul Miller's complete Mad Max 1 Pursuit Special. To see his car was good enough for me, but to take it out on the playa and feel her open up was amazing. My rust heap of a Falcon is only a shadow of this right now, but believe me, the thought that one day it will be this cool gets me all pumped up.
A few pics.
The car.
