What is the difference between these two? is there any difference in handling? 912 springs is my next mod and rocky-roads.com offers both kinds, i do some offroading once in a while. Which are better?

i have seen that thread but dont remember seeing anything about the difference between medium duty and heavy duty, let me recheck it again.
Did check that thread and didnt find an answer other than comparing the 919's super heavy duty springs or something like that. I kinda got that the Heavy duty springs should be stiffer and able to carry more load right?
Hmmm, Ok. Send a PM to fellow member "MARLIN". If I recall correctly, MARLIN went through a comparison dilema between the different springs available. MARLIN is a straight-shooter, and he'll be upfront with you regarding pros/cons.

I just ordered a set of 912's from www.davesport.com
They didnt give me the option of choosing Medium Duty or Heavy Duty so whatever they send will be fine. Is the same place Rickshaw ordered his from so i think it will be fine

Unfortunatly I am out of the country untill the end of august so i wont get to install anything i bought till then. But i cant wait!
I got the 919s, they fit perfect, of course, I talked to the folks over at indy4x, the 919s are a tiny bit taller, but they have a much higher weight capacity, so if you plan on hauling stuff or towing, that would be the difference. Not sure if they ride different or not...

Nice post, that is the same info I used in my decision, if it requires more lbf/in to compress the 919 spring, that means it will sit higher under normal load or loaded than the 912 or 913, which equals more lift:) Add a spacer, and voila, you are that much higher. But that requires that much more torsion bar crank as well. Its just a matter of what you want, and the ultimate reason, the 912s and 913s were a 6-8 week, 919s were in stock shipped the next day:)
