Ever since I purchased my '99 Ebony, I've been bothered by the hood insert. It was a bit faded and stained, with a lot of pits and chips and tiny cracks.
Well, I needed to buy some 60 cent retainers from Merlin at St. Charles Isuzu, to repair my door trim. I bought ten retainers, so that's, say, six bucks. I figured what the heck, let's splurge and fix the hood insert too.
$375!!!
Dang. Oh well, my hood will thank me. Won't it? :eek:
Cool...and you can use the old one to play around with scoop ideas!!

I got a spare from blujfan. Now I just need to get it linex'd & installed. Haven't decided what to do with the old cracked one yet.
Yeah, I have a new one sitting here too. I can't wait to install it along with my new headlights. I just want to get some body work done first, so it will all purdy again. :)

Mine started to crack in the corner. I plan to refinish it and keep it as a spare.
Wow, yeah, I still have my new one in the box waiting until I get some body work done on the VX. I'm glad I bought it when I did!!
