this is what was happening with mine except more than like 2 qts in 1000 miles. I did find oil in the intake also. shawn
We have two '99's and they both used to use 1 quart plus per thousand miles. I switched to a better grade PCV and frequently changed the filler cap gasket to get a positive seal. Voilla, oil consumption way down. How do we explain that?
oil consumption issues on my 2001. Some times I never even have to add oil between oil changes but I do diligently check.
