Anyone out there looking at this thread that have Ron's side skid plates installed. How are they attached to your VX?
Mine are welded on.

Thanks Knigh7s. Included in the molds I bought from Kuwait is the mold for the side skid plates. I asked a myamy22 about it and he said they were just screwed into the body cladding, was hoping there was a better way of doing it.Quote:

Yes is better with 3M tape. you can purchase that at any pep boys or autozone for about 10 bucks a roll of 10 feets or soQuote:

Oh yea, whatever I go, it will be the proper way. I know that most trim pieces are done this way now, and if done correctly with good quality products will last a long time and can be easily repaired if anything happens. Am also leaning towards that for the front skid plate at the top for those that don't have to run a front license plate. I know I would hate to see two bolts/screws in the middle of mine. These are all things that I need to work out before I will sell the first one. After all, will be selling to my extended familyQuote:
