my vx is going upward soon, I ordered 912's about a week ago and just spoke with rocky road. Springs are on back order another 3 weeks. Anyway, I have found some wheels I like but not sure if they will fit. I have searched the posts trying to figure out backset and spaceoff or is it spaceset and backoff (confused).. I am not lifted (I cranked the torsion bars so the distance from the top of the tire to the wheel opening was the same front and rear), and I am running 18" x 10" wheels with a 12mm negative offset, so my backspacing is about 5.5 inches. I only had to do very minor cladding trimming. Be sure the center bore is large enough (100mm, I believe). Hope that helps.

Thanks, I am narrowing my decision to the 17x9 wheel with specs of 4.53" backspace and -12mm offset, I will call to get the bore size. I am willing to trim for 33" tires. Any feedback appreciated....Thanks
