LOL, wow, that body shop completely screwed his 350x up terribly!!!!!
wow, ya that would be a lawsuit right there if it were me....
if someone did that to my VX.....
oh man i cant say that on a public forum i probably would be arrested...
HAHA...ive seen stuff like that when i was in the custom truck building business.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...........Most reputable shops wouldnt touch that for under $2000 easy ! But im sure he was looking for the Cheapest he could find and thats what he got...CHEAP
I particularly like the extra extra long sheet metal screws all over the place...
WHOA... insane...
I do think both parties are at fault. I would never have paintwork done on my car without knowing and SEEING some examples of their capability. And the price should have been a big indicator.
However, the company should have known they were incapable. Despicable. Grabber screw body kit install? Good hell.
Honestly Maaco would have done a better job, and probably cheaper too.
Poor guys.
Nice work...after seeing that, I took the liberty of further perusal of the "Z" forum...
That 1krwhp monster made me drool a little, finally had to turn around & go back home with roasted retinas, when I saw THIS...:sighwgray

OH THE HUMANITY...
Sweet curb feelers!:naughty:
Here is the whole thread, with more pics & all the usual comments...quite a funny, though long, read.
There are even a few pics toward the end, of a "Z" that has a fake S/C stuck to the hood...:rolleyesg

HOLY !@#$!!!!!!!!!!!
My God, I have never in my life seen such a miserable job! Even when I was taking classes for auto body and paint, 1st year students did a better job than that. Wow, that is some shade tree, extremely amateur work. And that is a compliment to shade tree amateurs! I think that shop just bought this guy a brand new Z.
I would like to see pics of it BEFORE it went in for work. It's always easy to point out issues afterward, but without something to base it off of, as an outsider, it is easy to remain skeptical.
I hope he didnt have to pay full price for those kick arse sheetmetal screws and Krylon though. !@#$ing PRICELESS! Yep, you definitely get what you pay for. Stop cutting corners and get it done right. Lesson learned I hope. :(
Yeah, my brother has a black 350Z. I sent this link to him. He couldn't believe it. Its funny what people will try to pass off....

Don't hate so much, we have at least one member who's done the same to his VX.
