SnowtrooperJR & the Dragon
Greetings, all!
Just got back from my Father's Day outing with SnowtrooperJR. We hit a trail that climbs 3K feet and terminates at a lake. Sadly, we did not make it to the lake at the end due to my not wanting to risk rolling off the trail. I am sure if I was out with some more expreienced 4X'ers, we may have made it...
Other than that, everything was great. Killer views, great company and a day to remember!
Hope all the dads out there got to have as much fun as me;)

And the end of the trail. It was definately doable, I think, but I would have had to angle off the side a bit. As I approached, it seemed a bit risky. Perhaps if someone was along with the experience of how much an angle without rolling the VX will handle:

A shot from down the valley at the blockage I decided to not cross:

Again, a great time. Just though it wise too err on the side of caution and not roll the Dragon on Father's Day;)
If the gang is up for it, this is one trail we will do when the Reno VX group comes here for the 4th of July camping trip.
Best,
