I took my VX to a local shop yesterday to discuss upgrading to a Flowmaster Super40 split into duals. He said that with the Calmini lift kit hardware, there isn't enough room to route the pipe on the right-rear side. I wanted to ask here if anyone had any trouble with dual exhaust and a lift kit???
Do a search for Kennys or Cyrks threads on duals.
Show Kennys pics to your mech. He's lifted with dual exhausts.
I think I would check another shop. Sounds like they didn't want to put any effort into your vehicle. Yeah, it can be done. Mine is. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.

Yes, check with another shop. Anyone interesting in customizing could do it fairly easily. Sounds like the shop you went to is only interested in stock replacements.
