So This Is Goodbye !
WELL..........This is it!
I sold my VX this week.
For the statistics:
The going price was almost $20.000,00.
The new owner is P. Henke here in the Netherlands.
He is an enthousiast as well.
I want to thank everyone for their input and help over the years.
A forum like this is priceless for an overseas owner.
The VX is one of the greatest cars I have ever owned and despite a few niggles it has never let me down and proven to be an ultra reliable vehicle.
I wish everyone on this forum all the best for now and in the future.
Godbless,
Richard van Hal AKA thedutchguy

How could anyone do such a thing? I can't imagine selling my VX even after 7 years. Of course if I thought I could get $20,000 for it....... mmmmmaybe.

Is it OK for non-Protons to reply to this thread???:smilewink
Sorry to see you go, good luck in whatever the future may bring your way.

Richard, I said it before...I will miss you and your automotive perspective. Like Spyker...it was a good run. You ended up with an Audi, did you not? I'd have held out for the 500 Abarth... but we know my taste is questionable...I bought an Isuzu, didn't I? Check in from time to time. You don't need to be an owner to be a fan. The wife and I want to go to LeMans next year (and catch an F1 race at the same time) I promised myself I'd drive the Nordschleife before I leave this planet. Stay in touch...maybe we'll drink a beer or three some day. Good luck to you. Wayne

It's sad to see anyone leave especially one of our European VX owners. They are so few.
Thanks for all your imput and insight.
Peace.

Just because your sold you VX doesn't mean you have to leave this site.
You are like an alumni and part of the family.
