I bought the kit on eBay for about $20 shipped. I've been looking for a "popper" before attempting the install, as merely opening the latch isn't enough to disengage the door so that it'll open freely.
This isn't the kit I bought, but it is similar:

i want everything to look factory thatz why i been tryin to get as many diff. partz as possible... and of coz their reliablity too. ;Db;
Anyone looked at using a couple magnets to repel the door back just enough to prevent re-clasping ? I am researching - if the magnets aren't too heavy - that's the route I want to go.
