Rest is good!

Just finished my last race (the Soma 1/2 Ironman) of the season yesterday. It was brutal. After a good swim and bike (had some wind towards the end), the run became a torture fest as Tempe served up a dose of record heat. 96 degrees and no shade made for a brutal run! But i fought off some pretty bad leg cramping to finish 66th overall (out of 1700+). I am sore today!!!!

Now I have two weeks of no training to let all the little aches and pains go away and to recharge my brain!!!!!!! The rest will be enjoyed. Then I will follow that up with two weeks of unstructured training to get going again!

Then I get to start all over again for next season:naughty:

First day of rest=VX oil change, oil filter and new K&N air filter!
