Being a metal fabricator i took one look at the problem of the plastic tabs that hold the window in the track and came up with a permanent solution for the plastic tabs that break!
Made of metal and its all one piece so there is more contact area to glue the glass in.

What would you guys charge for a matching set for my windows? I know I will need to do something down the line and this sure does make alot of sense. Thanks ;)

I'd be down for a pair. I'm getting sick and tired of reglueing those clips back on. The damn heat keeps melting it when I park at the airport parking (where i work). I just reglued this past weekend! ARRGH!! and its 'pozed to be hight temp glue!
Id be in for a set. :)

Since you slotted the holes for bolting through, I would make the slots for horizontal adjustment. (side to side) (not vertical)
One thing I would suggest:
the original plastic tabs had a texture to them, which allowed the glue to "stick" to it. Also, Im not sure, but I THINK the glue dissolved the plastic a little to allow for better bonding. Metal- not so much.
So I would suggest that you add a bunch of drill holes so that when you put the glue in, it gets squeezed through the holes and doesnt come loose. Ever.
My windows are fine..........for now,but I am definitely down for a set to hedge against future problems.
