For all you bulb gurus...Does anyone know if this might work for a possible replacement for our dome light bulb?
It looks like you would just attach the red and black wires to either end of where the stock bulb plugs in and use the appropriate fuse that they include. That would look awesome using the red LED in an Ironman. They also say that it is a universal hookup, so it ought to work.
OK, I finally got around to it and ordered a set of these. I'll post back when they are in, hopefully with some pics too.
Did anyone end up trying these?
i didnt try that specifically but i got this 36 led setup in my dome light..i had to cut the housing all to hell to get it to fit.. and even then its not the best fit.. but it does fit... just really tough to push the lens up to turn the light on manually

lol nah.. havent seen my EE buddy yet so i really havent even thought about it.. just kind of got used to it for the moment.. kinda funny people close the door and are like OH CRAP WHAT DID I DO because the relay is behind the passenger side scuff panel
I got the red set. They work pretty well, and the red looks great, but I don't think it is quite as bright as stock. It does preserve night vision(submarine style) though and it looks and works like its factory installed. I tried to take a picture before at night, but the digital camera does not adapt well to low light no flash applications.
