Does anyone know if all 1999 VX's have the Keyless entry / alarm as standard?
or...
How do I tell if my VX has keyless...??
I have searched under the dash...I dont see anything obvious .
But then again...
...I'm not really sure what I'm looking for !!

im pretty sure all VXs have them standard, you could look under your hood, the little buzzer siren thingy is a red cylinder wrapped in foam kind of iirc its between the power steering fluid reservoir and the brake fluid reservoir.. other than that when you look under the drivers side dash youll see a black box, with a seam running from the fire wall towards the drivers seat with a small green dot (which is a button) towards the middle of the bottom of it.. hope that helps

mine does have it.
ALL 99 - 01 VXs came with the keyless remote and buzzer - no glass breakage detector or starter lockout though. Alarm goes off if door is opened and the alarm armed. Rear door is NOT protected since it does not activate the overhead light which is what really sets the alarm off. Far up under the dash is a small flat black box that is the 'brain' - it has a tiny button on it for resynching to a remote(s). If anyone needs a remote, send me an email as I just found one I no longer need.
