The following was sent to my friends and family. We hope to find another VX cause this is like family.
So much for getting out of town and getting a little rest and relaxation. One day before our scheduled excursion to the "Great White North" other wise known as Canada, I had an altercation with one of Washington States many uninsured. Seems he didn't like the fact that responsible insured drivers go when the light turns green. I mean this guy's light wasn't just a little red it was Marks-a-Lot Red. Luckily the Isuzu VX is built for off roading and probably kept me from getting any broken bones, just bruises, strained muscles in my back and neck. Basically the same type of injuries I suffered from earlier this year. Instead of crossing the border and heading to Nelson, B.C.tomorrow afternoon, Sheri and I will be in the waiting room of our family doctor. I was told the VX is more than likely going to be totaled out. This is the vehicle which my beloved wife fell in love with and she could care less about such things most of the time, cars are just a way to get around for her.
If I sound a bit peeved, I am. Two accidents four months apart, neither of them my fault and both with people who don't have insurance. While responsible people are paying for insurance and getting dinged with higher rates because the no insurance laws are not being enforced.
My wife has given me a new undeserved nickname of "Crash".
Aloha to all of you,
Doug
