OK this is what happens when you don't check the 4" deep water's bottom....it turned out to be a powdery silt and we sank like a rock! How embarrassing! How stupid! That's Mexico in the background....yikes, not a good place to be....a real isolated spot on the border!!!! A big F350 couldn't pull us out with our short tow strap (no winch) because banks of river were too soft.....had to get official tow....on xmas day.....in Big Bend National Park...the least visited NP in the Country! Oh what fun!VX KAT
