hitting the upper limit of the towing capacity, the VX easily handled the car hauler and the heavier 82 Porsche 928 for a 350 mile plus trip to deliver the porsche to the new buyer, and back with an empty trailer. gas milage suffered greatly (about 11mpg fully loaded) but the power was fine on all but a few very steep inclines..and even then it wasnt "bad" just some slight straining...
