I'm assuming with the license plate and lights its street legal too? I've always wanted something like this but didn't think it could be street legal.

sweet dude, I had a '74 super with an 1835 and dual cadron carbs.. those lil motors can be a blast, especially when it's rigged to something supper light like a rail... check out www.lowbugget.com , it a whish list of mine
Sorry for the slow response ( I've never checked the gallery pic post) Yep I got it as a basket case with a Illinois title. The first thing I did was went to the DMV got all my paper work to make sure it was legal and had no problem. Took it home my daughter and I tore it down blasted/powdercoated and re-assembled. We had a blast putting it together and more fun driving it. The moter is stock (1640cc) out of a super beetle but alot of fun on/off road.
