Thumbs up Hexomat Rear Seat All-Weather Mat

Last summer I was looking for a custom-fit all-weather cargo mat for the VX and ended up going with a Hexomat. I had my doubts based on the online (stock) pics, but the fit was impressive. See this post for more details:

At the time they didn't offer a rear seat option, so I ended up ordering a set of universal front and rear mats from WeatherTech. While the fronts fit okay, the rear mats required significant scissor-action to fit correctly. Initially I liked the two-mat WeatherTech design because it kept the backseat tiedown flap exposed, but after I installed the Trooper rear cupholder, it became apparent that any spills would land directly between the two mats (see pictures). And I realized that no more often than I fold the backseat forward, removing the mat once in a while was no big deal.

So I was cruising AutoAnything a few months ago and noticed that Hexomat had added a one-piece rear seat mat for the VX to its lineup. Although the online pic of the rear seat mat is no more accurate than the one for the cargo area, I figured I'd give it a try based on past experience.

The verdict: The fit is nearly perfect, and even covers those odd recesses just in front of each wheel well. Granted the mat won't stop a liquid there, but they do keep your feet from leaving marks on the carpet every time you get in/out.

    Judge for yourself.

    Nice floor mats.

Not to hijack the thread but I had 2 women in the back once and hit a rather large speed bump. They werent wearing seat belts (I know, I know) and their heads almost went through the headliner.
