Can I get some help on what to use on my caldding.
It is in pretty good shape. I just want to make it shine.
What are some of the products you VXers are using?

I use Mequiars and it works really well. I get it here:

Using this board helped me find it, so thanks to those who suggested it! :)

I have read in earlier post that ICE wax from Turtle wax is a good product. I have used it but for some reason when applying it I end to build up alot of static electricty and make the hairs on my arm stand up. It does keep a shine for weeks depending on your weather conditions.
I will be purchasing the ICE DETAILER they have out to see what results I get from this and can post later.

A "search" on the subject will give you a weekend's worth of reading

"STP Son of a Gun" and "Armor All" both give a dark, shiny somewhat greasier look that unfortunately streaks badly if rained on.

"Mother's Back 2 Black" seems to make the cladding look like new again with a low gloss shine but IMHO it tends to dry out the cladding as when it wears off it seems to look worse. I used/liked this product for a while but have since strayed away. Sometimes I use it first to "clean" the cladding but then I use the next product afterwards to keep it from drying out and adding a better shine/luster.

"Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Spray" in aerosol spray can w/adjustible nozzle. I've been buying it at WalMart. It seems to really last and doesn't streak when it gets wet and is easy to spray on and wipe excess off. I really like this stuff!

Meguiar’s Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Spray uses water-resistant polymers, combined with anti-ozonant technology (UV inhibitors) to arrive at a formula that lasts for weeks. Through rains and washings, Hot Shine hangs on and keeps your tires looking black and glossy.

The first adjustable width spray nozzle on a tire dressing (patent pending) is found on this product, making a potentially messy job so much neater. No more drips, runs or overspray! Always work on cool clean tires. Adjust sprayer to narrow or wide, depending on the girth of your tires, spray on the shine and walk away. The thick formula penetrates, rejuvenates, nourishes and conditions the rubber, giving an unmistakable high gloss, wet-looking surface that says “pampered.” The glow nicely complements any vehicle.

Control the level of shine by adding another layer, or buffing off excess Hot Shine for a more subtle glow. Excess product should be wiped away anyhow, to avoid sling-off. Meguiar’s claims that one 24 oz. bottle should treat about 50 tires!
