Monterey, CA Meet

I am probably driving my VX down to Monterey this weekend to visit the inlaws.

Anybody down that way want to get together for a meet?
Perhaps a little wheelin' action in Hollister Hills?

Sorry TEN, that would have been nice. I was planning to go to the USGP at Laguna Seca this weekend, but got lethargic and everyone else at work grabbed the time off. Some time at the track and a romp through the hills would have been perfect. A Hollister weekend or a run through the coastal mountains above Big Sur would be great. Anyone interested? You still out there, Groovium?

Either of you going to the American LeMans race at Laguna Seca in October? Some friends from up north are going and have asked if I'd like to join them. No definite plans yet as I haven't even looked for hotel reservations, but just thought I'd ask a little ahead of time. Maybe I'll see a VX or two in the parking lot if I go?

Negativo on the LeMans Series, but I do have a tendency to hit the Monterey Historic Races every August (18-20 this year, if memory serves). Jim Hall and the Chaparrals were the featured marque last year and it was a sight to bring tears to the eyes. If the usual suspects are up for it (non-VXers but reasonably good chaps), I'll be going that weekend.
