Hey, I was browsing the VX galleries tonight and I saw a VX that looked like it had the front side reflectors and the turn signal housing changed to white (clear) plastic instead of orange. It looked kinda nice...just wondering if anyone knows where to get those?

It was made by RON of VehicrossConcepts(dot)com. He discontinued them because of manufacturing defects. But still check out his site. He has a lot of cool custom stuff for our VX’s!

Yep, Ron manufactured those, as well as ClearCorners. Both had issues with cracking and splitting after just a matter of weeks, so they discontinued. Sadly, Ron was going to send me a new pair since mine brittled up and broke after a couple of weeks, but I never recieved them before he took leave. Can't complain though since he hooked me up quite a bit in the past.
I do have a connection with someone to manufacture prototype clear lear LED side markers though and I am going to go through with it today. If all goes well, I will see if it is worth him producing more.

WormGod,
I'd be interested in those side markers as well if your guy makes more...

Hmmm, so it looks like these are probably not a good idea anyway, since there were so many technical issues with them. Too bad, cause they look really nice!

Still waiting to hear back. The offer to make them was made about 3 months ago so it could be that there is no longer any interest in doing the project. *shrug* We shall see.
hey Gary,
I have not forgotten you buddie! I'm still working on a set for you personally that will replace the set you have. I'm also working on others as well. As you know that I have been adopted as a full time "mother" now since my last lay off and juggling two girls isn't easy. Especially when the newest is sooo demanding. Well, I try to squeeze as much work time on the VX products between babysitting and sleep. I can now really empathize with stay home moms and appreciate the work they do when managing kids and home.
I'm also working with, not only on current orders, but future projects that I have in mind for the VX. I have a fellow colleague, who's another designer, who's going to help me with the current projects as well as developing future ones. We're going to ramp up the VXC company in getting more product lines going soon. Unfortunately, this requires time and, not to mention, money. But, I've got three new items that are in development and will start posting pics once I get the first prototypes produced.
I apologize if I seem out of the loop. I recently saw that my VX has landed at its destination in Massachusettes and the new owner will be picking it up from the terminal in New Jersey today. Just because I'm without a VX, at this time, doesn't mean that it will deter me from creating new stuff for it.
If anyone has any questions regarding their current or future orders, please contact me via e-mail as I will get back to you as time will allow.

Thanks Ron! I will keep an eye on your website for any updates, and after I get new tires and rims, I will probably order a front skid plate from you!

Ahoy Ron! Thought you took leave after parting with your VX. Good to know the VX community is still creeping through your veins.
The lense hookup is appreciated. Not like my VX does anything but sit in the garage now, but as long as there are accessories available, the VX shall remain a project. :)
