Just wondering how alike the VX and rodeo suspension is. I have a friend that is wondering if he can do the OME912 spring lift and crank the torsion bars up. I'm thinking that the spring rate is diff. for these applications, but if someone could shed some light on this that would be great.

Do a search on the 4x4wire's Isuzu section and you will fin a ton of stuff on the 912's and other applications and lifts.

I have an Axiom which has the same suspension as the Rodeo. I've also installed the 912 springs, cranked the torsion bars and replaced my ICS shocks with Rancho 9000sx adjustables. A Rodeo should be able to do the same. I bought my lift from Matt at Independent 4x. (http://www.independent4x.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=839915%7C1016330&PRID=1116597) My rear shock bushings were too small, Matt said it looked like the Axiom should have used the Trooper rear shocks.

Beautiful, thanks fellas for the info, my friends wife has some pretty strict rules as to how much he can spend on anything other than her so the cheaper the lift, the better. He just replaced his shocks with some carquest units, so hopefully they will work out for him.
