Suggestion tune up

Does anyone has any idea what parts can I buy to autozone or Pepboys for my VX to tune up my car?

spark plugs, PCV valve, differential oil, transmission oil, engine oil, engine oil filter, grease for drive shaft zerks, grease for wheel bearing repack, air filter

seafoam treatment (i am looking into trying this)

Make sure you get the one piece PCV valve - one of these guys (Pep Boys, I believe) carries a two piecer that set off my check engine light and cost me $70 to find out what the cause was. It apparently doesn't seal well between the 2 pieces after some use and vibration - letting air into the system.

The Purolator unit from Pep Boys is one piece.

You can also get a new battery (if you need one, I suggest an Optima red) from Pep Boys. Also, you can find trim-to-fit mudflaps there.

Also stock up on degreaser and 'carb' cleaner. It'll make routine maintenance a lot easier if you keep your engine compartment clean.
