Heard from some very reliable sources today that the Trooper is coming back in 06. There is talk about some with diesel engines.

It makes some sense looking back at a discussion I had a while ago with an Isuzu America marketing exec. She said something pretty exciting was gonna happen in 2006.

It doesnt make sense when Isuzu dealers are few and far between. But again Isuzu's ways have always been inscrutable. We shall see...

I'd rather see an Isuzu comeback -I sure won't be standing in line for a 2006 Trooper until they get their customer service issues straightened out.

Hey...an Isuzu Trooper would be nice!!! Sure would beat that lame lineup they have been advertising (the rebadged GM trucks).
I personally want Isuzu to get their SH** together and bring back to Rodeo models(BTW...which was their best seller)

I found this brochure on e-bay in the UK. It is of the "Isuzu Rodeo Max".
Marketed I guess in Europe only.....NICE RIDE :)

A new trooper would be a good start, combined with improvements in customer service like Mr. Beach said, & an enlarged dealer network.
IMHO, getting back to the basics & forgetting whatever they may have learned from GM, would be the best remedy for Isuzu's problems.
The enlarged dealer network is a little selfish on my part, but I'll bet I'm not the only one who has to drive 3-4 hrs. or more to get there.

MZ-N10...
I don't beleive this is the rebadged chevy at all....the brochure is from 2004 and the size indicates it's a compact truck (I could be all wrong...but I could be right :) )
It has the same lines as the Chinese version ("Great Wall Truck) which could make it a "Isuzu/Nissan" version.

I'M SO CONFUSED
Yes it's true Isuzu did most of the work (engineering, design, etc., etc.) but Damn GM gets all the credit...as usual!
