Hey all,

My headliner has a couple of spots where a sloppy mechanic from the stealership was, well . . . sloppy. I didn't notice it until it was too late too complain (didn't think to look UP when I picked her up), so now I gotta clean it myself.

I know headliner fabric can be difficult to clean without screwing it up - anybody have any tips on how I can get those grease smudges clean without messing up the liner?

Thanks,
Ron

Use a very mild detergent and with a slightly damp, clean rag dad at the spots.. if you rub, all it will do is puch the dirt further. Don't scrub or use a brush as it will "comb" the fibers and you won't like the look of it.. I've used shout before, just dilute it.

i cleaned mine with spray nine on a rag. just spray some on the rag and wipe. try it on the edge to make sure it doesn't smear. shawn

buy one of the carpet cleaners that instruct you to dab, rather than scrub the spot.
