View Full Version : Extra Keys - Keyless entries??

Anyone know where you can pick up a second keyless entry switch for a 1999 VX????

And i'm looking through the owners manual on the VX and it says it doesn't recommend towing with it, but yet you can get a towing option? how does that work?

I don't need to tow more then five or six hundred pounds, and don't think it should be much of an issue, but was wondering if anyone had heard any horror stories regarding this.

The remote fob can be bought through Isuzu (try St. Charles). Many on this board tow with the VX. You will be fine with that weight. Try Tone for a nice hitch. Requires a little cutting and welding but looks straight from the factory.

You're my new best friend Triathlete. Thanks a lot. I found a factory hood insert new in a box, for about half what the body shop in town was gonna charge me. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Try eBay for extra keys and remotes, they are on there pretty regularly - I think I saw a remote on there today. If you want to go a little different on your key blank, there is someone offerring tigerprint, denim, checker flag, or geometric patterned blanks on eBay as well. They never list under VehiCROSS, but I've seen them under Rodeo and Passport.

I have a pair of remotes that aren't being used, I put in an aftermarket system.
How does $25.00 each, or $45.00 for both shipped to your door..

So are these original isuzu remotes or the aftermarket ones? I would be all over them. I can just take them to any isuzu dealer and get em programmed right?

They are the OEM Isuzu... I need the aftermarket ones to get into my VX... :D

bigdogdeee, found out that he has an aftermarket alarm system after all, I split Nazrat's post over to the garage sale section.. I still have 2 OEM remotes that I'll be putting in the Garage Sale section (http://www.vehicross.info/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16)
