Well, he was a dubious character, but he gave us the Pontiac GTO and the DeLorean DMC-12.

The Delorean is a car that I hope to own some day. I think a garage with a stainless Delorean & a silver VehiCROSS would be SWEET!

John DeLorean was a dreamer....Where would the world be without dreamers.
It was unfortunate that finances caused his downfall(like so many others).
What he did for the automotive market will never be forgotten.
A toast to all the dreamers of the world...........

I agree... he also had plans to make a $20k plastic car, which of course never got off the ground.

Forget the cocaine thing... people are doing far worse things in their personal lives in even more heavy-handed positions... he was DEFINITELY a dreamer.
