guys, my name is scott williams and i live near Proton_Thing (abbey). I was her boyfriend but I'm sorry to say that she passed away in a wreck on halloween eve. She wasn't speeding and there was no foul play. She ran off the road and side swiped a tree driver side door at 55-60 mph. I just thought some of you guys would like to know. She was always telling me about you guys and all of the help you gave. If you have any questions let me know.

Scott

She will be missed.

Oh my!

I remembered her last post on the forum. She wanted to put some beefier tires on her VX. She was a lovely girl who loved her Proton. My condolences to you and to her family and friends.

I think this is an unfortunate first for the site - the loss of a member VX'er in their truck. Very sad.

I'm sorry to hear that she is gone. I didn't know her in the "real" world, but am sorry that a member of this family of friends was taken so early in life. My condolences to you & her family. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.

No man is an island, entire of itself
every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main
if a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were,
as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were
any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind
and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls
it tolls for thee.

I am speechless Scott. I never was good at relaying my sorrow and feelings when it came to this sort of loss, but you, Abbey, and her family will be in my thoughts.
