hello all,
i have noticed that a lot of you are pilots. i am in the process of getiing my private pilots license. i need 7 more hours of solo time before i can take the check ride. i just wanted to see how many are pilots of the VX and airplanes. i dont know how to post a poll, so could someone do it for me?

Hey Marximus,

I hold a pilot license as well, but haven't flown in some time. What a wonderful hobby though. Good luck with it all.

Funny you should ask - there's a current thread about this already ("Flight hours...")

I have a few hours of instruction in a R-22 helicopter, so I'm really just an aspiring pilot at this point.

Get those solo hours and pass your checkride. I flew in the USAF for 10 years and with Fedex for 25. Its a great life, and you have lots of off time to enjoy your VX.

Why Helicopters Are Better Than Women

Helicopters kill you quickly while a woman takes her time.

Helicopters don't get mad if you touch and go.

Helicopters don't object to a preflight inspection.

Helicopters have manuals to explain their operation.

Helicopters can be flown any time of the month.

Helicopters don't come with in-laws.

Helicopters don't care how many helicopters you have flown before.

Helicopters and their pilots both get there at the same time.

Helicopters don't mind you looking at other helicopters.

Helicopters won't comment on your piloting skills.

Helicopters don't whine unless something is wrong.

However, when helicopters get quiet, just like a woman, it's a bad thing.
