The guages are the wrong color, I ordered the green LED and the boost sending unit did not work! Kinda sucks, when you cant tell what color they are until you install it(or when you think you have the right parts).

So the good people at www.rjays.com are going to ship out the right/working parts to me overnight.....nice people over there.

Heads up to anyone planing on installing a pillar pod, it's gives a even bigger blind spot between the drivers window and the windsheild.....I did'nt even think of that, I guess I'll just have to be a bit more aware of my surroundings and making left hand turns.

This is very true, and something i did not even think about when i did mine. I almost clipped another car the first day i had it on. It is good you noticed it before something happened. By the way looks goog and i kinda like the digi gauges.;Dr;

Sincerely, how tall are you guys? It made NO difference to my view at all...

Perhaps it is the brand of guage pod, mine was the auto meter, what type was yours?

I guess another thing that is at play here is where you place the pod along the pillar. So, be aware of this folks as you start on your own project!!;Db;

Great thread! I just bought the autometer boost gauge and I'm in the market for a single or double pod gauge. I' also considering dropping the gauge into the fuzzy hole..has anyone tried that? The 96-98 Civic pod gauges seem unavailable from the sites that I've tried so far.

Wow... really? With all the modifying the Civic crowd does I'm suprised anyone is out of anything for a Civic or any Honda for that matter.

Check ebay, they are always on there. The one that fit the Axiom is the 92-95, not sure if it the same that fits your though.

Ya, definate loss of view. Not much, but enough to make you need to be a tad more cautious. I noticed that with mine also. But, with mine gone and sitting in some dusty corner at "Carbon Fiber One", I have little to worry about now. :(

Does anyone know how to locate a 2-gauge for a 99" VX? Or is there another model that fits the VX?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I got a single A-pillar pod from Autozone & they have doubles available.
These are "universal" units that can be trimmed/moulded(by using a heat gun),& fit over the existing pillar rather than replacing it.
They didn't have them on display, I had to ask if they had such an item, which I thought was odd. :confused:
