All I can think about is having a VX!! Pics are posted at work at my desk...people say..Oh is that a Porsche Cayenne?? Is that a BMW???

Ugh! I am test driving a 2001 Black/Black/Red on Tuesday...biting fingernails! In the meantime I have been getting as much information about this vehicle as possible. ..loan is in the works...insurance agent has given me the quote...I have recalcualted the budget..it is all READY...

This is a great place...if only every vehicle had a forum like ths!!!!!! Right now I am in an 1996 Isuzu Rodeo. I am just bored to death of it and I need something exciting. My personality is OUTGOING and a silver 1996 Rodeo just isn't cutting it...thank God for my motorcycle!

I was checking out those awesome Japanese websites and and finally got a chance to use the Mac G4 SHERLOCK feature, check this out:

on http://homepage3.nifty.com/vehi-square/looseboss.htm there is a buddah animal of sorts reclining...this is my favorite translation off of that website (Thanks to John Eaton on his wildtoys.com site---see VX Links---VehiSQUARE---click on the little #7 VX)----

Occupation: Something related to automobile... with being unrelated,
it designates the nature as the partner. * That it is said whether to
be good the certain chair HKDRT you serve in the automobile, but
completely there is no relation, is.

Character: Random. (This person calls and = good allowance it seems
that is interpreted, but...)

Hobby: If thing of the car regardless (from economy to the can
gal... in) music and the especially lock ブルーズ and jazz. (It
has entered into the fan club of how B ' z, it seems!) The rice (喰
and others う thing making, watching at cooking program watch at)
news reporting program.

Specialty: Catalog collection (presently driving (regardless of the
high-speed off snow) the presumption 3000 section!) Sleep anywhere

Figure: As for the left image, ringleader? It is the form which
transforms. (Lie) with such form seems ideal.

Recent condition: With the chair which future intended because of a

of phone well beak loss it has become secretly the blood sea cucumber.

Inscription "Go on the seat right further! - It goes to the place
where it can go! You do to the place where you can do! "" It does not
refuse any which come and it does not chase any which you go away, the
monkey from the tree falling

<<<<<<<<<that last paragraph is THE BEST...thanks for reading all of this...even if it does not make sense..YET! BEAK LOSS is used often in the translation...any ideas what it is supposed to mean...?

2 Wheels...4 Wheels...don't matter!

Kitten,

I think that animal on the "lost in translation" site is the Japan

equivalent of Winona's big brown beaver! WOW!!! if we could

work on some lyrics, ...and then call Wierd Al,... or,maybe not...

OH %#@$* did I say that out loud ?????;Dr; ;Do; ;Dy; ;Db; :mbrasd:

Kitten, stay the course. Your on the right track!

Translation reminds me of these old but goodies:
Microsoft Haikus
Japanese replacements for Microsoft error messages:
In Japan, they have replaced the impersonal and unhelpful Microsoft error messages with Haiku poetry messages. Haiku poetry has strict construction rules-each poem has only 17 syllables; five syllables in the first, 7 syllables in the second and five in the third. They are used to communicate a timeless message, often achieving a wistful, yearning and powerful insight through extreme brevity.

Here are 13 actual error messages from Japan.

The Web site you seek
cannot be located, but
countless more exist.

Chaos reigns within,
Reflect, repent and reboot.
Order shall return

Program aborting:
Close all that you have worked on.
You ask far too much.

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death
No one hears your screams.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

Your file was so big.
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.

Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
The network is down.

A crash reduces
Your expensive computer
To a simple stone.

Three things are certain:
Death, taxes and lost data.
Guess which has occurred

You step in the stream,
But the water has moved on.
This page is not here.

Out of memory.
We wish to hold the whole sky,
But we never will

Having been erased,
The document you're seeking
Must now be retyped

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank

Isn't that better than "your computer has performed an illegal operation :laughy:

hey Silverbullet,

nope I didn't do the translation, the only page I translated was this one for Naoki.http://homepage3.nifty.com/vehi/sho.../shopping15.htm

Actually the homepage you guys are talking about is from a guy named Monchi, he's a real Isuzu nut, he just imported a brand new Axiom into the Japan..the first one!
The green colour is the colour of the Skyline GTR NUR, a 350 BHP version of the "normal" GTR. It was the last model of the GTR series before Nissan pulled the plug.
Monchi really wanted to have one, but they were sold out within a hour! (50 vehicles, $59.000 a piece!), so as he could not get the GTR he decided to get the colour!
It looks really nice!

I think that Japanese website that was posted at the top of this thread is freaking amazing. I love to see how other VehiCROSSes live, where they go, who they meet, what their owners stick on them, what wheels they wear, the freaky colors they came in or were later painted (I think that moss green one was painted to match the owner's Nissan Skyline if I'm remembering right) the old fashioned headlights they came with, and even the people that drive them. They sure are kept clean though... a few of them are cleaner than mine was five minutes after it was made at the factory.
