New VX's

Does anyone know why they stopped production on the VX in 2001? I absolutely love mine and it's an attention getter. People are always staring at it and asking me about it. For a truck that gets so much attention, I was just wondering why they pulled it.

Do you think they'll ever starting making them again? My worst fear: when mine kicks the bucket, I won't be able to find another one!!!

Isuzu never did intend to produce the VX in large quantities. It was meant to 'showcase Isuzu' ..... and to get people into a dealership ..... etc.

Also, the market is/was limited for a small 'no compromise' SUV with limited cargo capacity for 30K ........
