New Yakima Fairing Arrived

Ok Fellow VX owners,

Once again I need your help...

I received the Yakima fairing for my roof rack. I had ordered the 38" which covers from tip to tip of the rack, it doesn't look too bad but I was told I needed the 32" after I had already placed the order. I have searched and searched for pics, but can't seem to find any to give me a good idea on what the 32" would look like. Should I install the 38" or should I exchange it for the 32"?

You're right.

KIDDING! ;) Poopy attitude, though. I think the reason you didn't get much response is that there aren't many on here that have one, or maybe they don't check the forum often during the day. I know you wanted to get this taken care of asap, so it was kinda annoying that no one answered right away.

Anyway, good luck with the fairing, and I hope you get the new one quickly.

I was either going to check into a fairing, or make one myself, but with the Thule rack on that I purchased and the sunroof I have, there is almost NO distance between the two. I would have to design a fairing with a sort of 'cut out' for the sunroof so when it flips up it doesn't hit the fairing.

I may still do it.

I have seen pics with the sunroof and the 32" Thule fairing, you might want to check Reghinant's gallery...
