I am thinking of getting these wheels in a 20 x 9 and probably a 275/45/20 tire. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=38662&item=2471684040&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT

Can anyone tell me what offset I should get for this wheel? I like the look of the tires sticking outside the fender about 1" - 1.5"

If there is anything else I should know before buying the wheels, I would love the input/advice :D

Thanks guys/girls

Just wanted to say they look nice! I will let someone else ring in that has 20's and can tell you what you want.

Not sure that our hub is going to fit into that wheel... our Hub is really big.

That is a HOT wheel!... good luck with that.

an opinion from a conservative ..... with a tad of sarcasm added:
.
If you really feel the need for 20" wheels .... for the looks - go for it ......... but I don't feel a 20" 45 series tire is the way to go .....
.
the 18"s - on the 00 and 01 - are enough .... maybe too big ......
.
(lift one just one time - that will convince you)
.
the 18"s and 16"s probably will deliver better performance than a 20" .....
.
save your money ...... as my dad would say ...... he was right ...

Hey Guys,

The bore size of the new wheel is 110.....is that big enough? I think ours needs 108 (I have no idea what all these numbers are :D but the sales guy says they fit....I just need an offset #)

I was considering the 18"'s, but my boyfriend says "get the 20's" . I never listen to him any other time, so I'll prob go with the 18's in the end....heehee

Thanks for the advice & info ;)

I switched to 20" wheels and never looked back. If you go off roading then get smaller, but the 20 x 9s allows for better cornering and over all on road handling.

Kiersten,
This place has them as 18x8.5 which might be a better fit and such, I have 18x8.5 Borbets and they are great!

Quick Photochop of the wheels you want in 18's on my VX wrapped in 255/55/18... looks NICE :)

Dave,

I LOVE it....man, ur a artist with that photoshop, eh?

Ok so if I go with the 18's (thanks for the link) what's the max size tire I can go with? With your 18 x 8.5 what offset did you go with?

Thanks again for the pic.....I want those clear corners :D and I wish mine was that clean right now

Went with 275/45 Goodyear tires, However, I'm not sure of the offset.

I have 255/55/18 but I think you can go with 285/60/18 with a tad trimming... I am going to go that route when it is time for new tires...

so I just spoke to the wheel guy...he only has 20's with a 275/45/20 goodyear GT2....is that brand tire ok?......total package cost $1595.00.

Looks like it's the 20's (my b/f will be happy:p )

Those are KMC Thunders right? I think they are no longer available, I've been casually looking for about 4 months now and all I've seen was a guy selling his display model (a single wheel) on ebay.

If you ever want to sell yours, let me know.

I've got that 1-1.5 inch sticking out with 20 x 9 wheels, 295/45/20 tires.

Backspace on wheels is 6".
