Has any one seen a front brush guard made specifically for the V-cross. and or any wire grill brush guards for the headlights.

In addition, I am wanting to go to BFG AT/R's x 33". What are the neccessary steps and cost in order to do this?

Thanx
Pig

No brush guards commercially made for the VX.

Many of us have a Westin Safari bar, installed with brackets purchased from Tone, to fit the VX. It's basically just a light bar but does look a little more rugged.

Grandpa Bob had a pic of his on the old forum... custom by the way:

Dallas of StinkyFab started a prototype on my VX which looked really good. I dont know where he is with it at the moment but I would buy it should he make it available.

I e-mailed Dallas at StinkyFab about the front skid bar and he said he needs a VX for final test fitting for a finished product. I'm on the east coast so I can't take him my VX for the fit. If someone could contact him and make their VX available we'd all have another option for a front guard. I'm interested in getting one from him.

Dallas hasn't posted here for a couple of months, wonder what happened??

I'll give him a call. He is probably busy getting ready for Moab at this point.

Dallas posts more often on the 4x4Wire. He has been busy building a suzuki crawler and doing even more mods to the stinkbug (his amigo).

I talked to Dallas this morning. He is going to be preparing for his trip in May working for the Zuzoo Event. When he returns from that, we will schedule a time for me to take my VX to him to create a VX brush bar. I'll let everyone know when that will happen and what comes of it. ;Dr;

That picture is of the beginnings of making the guard. Not a finished project by any means.

I was wondering if someone might still have the photos of the failed "trailready group buy" style full-face grille guard to show Dallas from Stinkyfab... If anybody else is interested in that style.
Personally I loved that look!

I was looking through the forum and i had seen where people were talking about the isuzu concept grill guard for the VX. I had an idea...I'm going to my friend who owns Iron Pig off roading in northern Va (if any one knows of the place) Well he usually works on toyotas but hes not one to pass up a challenge or something custom. I'm going to take the picture to him and see if he could build it. 2 inch hitch and all. I'll let everyone know what happens with that. Post back with any suggestions or comments.

Read all three of these threads, it will tell you all about it.
I used "Westin bar" as the search criteria.
