After performing Scott's excellent Corner Marker Conversion (http://www.vehicross.info/showthread.php/27894-Flashing-Front-Corner-Marker-Light-Mod), I decided to do the same for the rear side markers (caution, may not be legal in your area ;)

Process is similar to the front mod (link above):
1. Remove rear brake/signal/parking light assembly by opening rear door and removing the 2 screws on each side - assembly will pull straight once screws are removed.
2. Attach a 18" ~18 gauge wire with a scotchloc (or splice in a wire) to the top most GREEN wire going to the top turn signal lamp.
3. Remove 2 screws holding the rear sidemarkers in.
4. Route the wire down from the rear lights to the rear side markers.
5. Cut back black wire sheath (about 3") to expose the wires at the side markers.
6. Cut BLACK wire about 3" back from socket.
7. Tape up black wire going down sheath.
8. Attach the wire you ran down from the rear turn signal and butt splice or solder and heatshrink the wire to the black wire you cut going into the socket.
9. Test before reassembling lighs - rear side markers will now blink in snyc with the rear turn signals when the parking lights are off and alternate with the rear turn signals when the parking lights are on.
10. Reassemble and enjoy.
