thanks Bro Got them both and they are in and working smooth !! I appreciate your help. I was going to have Meineke do the 2 universal joints on that rear shaft they wanted $142.63 for the rear and $83.63 for the front = $226.26 plus 2 hrs labor @110 = $ 220.00 TOTAL 501.37. My labor 4 hrs free. fronts 10087460...=411 $40.99 and rear joint 10087216 ...=383 $26.99 TOTAL $ 72.74 I saved myself $$428.63.WOW. and it wasn't very difficult at all. one of these days ill figure out how to post photos of my Ironman
For future reference MOOG SKU #10087460 // MFG#HPE411 front ujoint {Larger} MOOG SKU#10087216 // MFG#HPE383 Rear ujoint {Smaller} Kind of strange I thought it should be the other way around with the Larger one in the nearby the Differential but I think that was very intentional in case one of them does break it would be the smaller one which the shaft would just drag on the ground as opposed to popsicle stick {As my skateboarding son calls it } and tearing out the rear end!!! very smart ,are all vehicles like this I wonder?

thanks again DanMan/Florida

Speaking of parts... What have people experienced in finding needed parts?
Is it best to buy a VX for parts?

I currently have a 1999 VX... and it stopped running... no gas reaches the engine it seems, as well as the instrument cluster dials do not come to life when power is on... So, I am assuming the no start and instrument panel may be connected.

Any advise...? Do I just have it towed to a mechanic and they will be able to get the needed parts once they diagnose the issue(s)?

Sourcing parts for a VX can always be tricky. There are some parts that I won’t trust a mechanic to find. These are usually VX specific but most drive train parts are common enough. I do most of my own wrench work. Diagnostic tools will be your friend. OBD2 reader that can read ABS codes. Multimeter. Wiring diagrams. A VX is *^#%^^ to work on at times.

And the front: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/moog-driveline-products-universal-joint-411/10087460-P?krypto=P7vqr3GhkZd%2BMd5BnrH2hvU9Mk3YiO0F7%2BwP0 sGcSwWyaZHOMlda7N3NUGGll90ZS4Q1blHfLNyFpvGjzaLHv2b SPMrqkIZ%2BXD1gchZ34HuQ5wq0Hz44yuSOssn%2F1w2Yx5fVg i3T5c1Wd9EEvpP%2Fb4r8p8rEVuwP4UUs%2FcH%2BbzLF22UiM TjwpQoXgU6qcGUOUQ67MW%2FnsgXJGnOGE3I2E2tZYhmLMLQGi puiDqa6FZXO10Xdtow9N7yHzzv3qDt5BGAiD2i2zefsVLLNmow LpJ3NYvAuw4fRHsqlH0wb8N%2BCeujf9bqB0Vn3%2FLOr5j8BA EbEzkg8tpu%2B%2B9yrlnYunQ%3D%3D#

And did you fix your not starting issue?
