I will be, hopefully, installing Old Man EMU shocks tomorrow. What should I do with the OEM VX shocks?

Hang onto them for now. Make sure you like the new shocks AND make sure a reasonably-priced rebuilder doesn't pop up. Rare items off rare vehicles aren't the best thing to throw away.

Thanks, maybe I will. I did notice that after pulled the springs, one has a nice curve in it. They are probably not worth saving, but I think I will hang on to the shocks for a while. Thanks again! :)

Rebuild them. There is no other alternative.

I don’t know, the Old Man EMU’s are great so far. ;)

FYI...for shock rebuilds.

This outfit comes highly recommended by a fellow VX'er near me in So Cal...who's used them for
VX shocks as well as years of quads /dirt bikes etc.

http://shop.noleenj6.com/

Noleen j6 has got rebuilding shocks down to $100 each to service the shock plus seal and bushing 22.98 and The bladder 15.98 total service is 138.96 each x4 = 555.84

To revalve takes more parts ( shims ) and will cost $75.00 more. Thats the shock plus seal and bushing $22.98 and the bladder $15.98 total re-valve is $213.96 each x4 =855.84

Cheers
