ok about a month ago my transmission started banging when upshifting from 3-4 gear and when downshifting from 2-1 gear. about a day later my transmission started leaking and slipping so i had to get my tranny rebuilt. now here is my problem
its banging again but not leaking or slipping and its intermittent, never know when its gonna happen. it may happen all day then the next day its fine and will stay fine for a week then come back for another day and then be good again. i took it the the guy who did my tranny but when i brought it there of course it worked fine.
my question is could this be the tranny or may be something else? the mechanic says dont worry about it cause i have a 1 yr warranty but i hate when it does it and i dont want to blow the tranny again.
the banging is worse if it is shifting hard meaning giving more gass , and like i said only happens on these 2 gears.
