Well after 190,000 miles my transmission finally went anybody out there know where I can get either a cheap used transmission or a rebuilt one for a decent price. I went to AAMCO and they quoted me $2,700 and called a local shop in my area and coated me 1500. Whats the cheapest anyone has ever paid for a rebuilt transmission? Thanks
By the way I have a 99 Isuzu Vehicross

I've paid $1375 here in San Diego....
...But if you trust the local shop... $1500 is pretty good IMO, assuming it has a warranty.

What's the model # for these? 4L30-E?

If you find a good shop, they'll allow you to use your own parts & they install for you. Won't get a guarantee on it that way...but sometimes that's worth it--if you're upgrading the internals.

Gross. ATX was one of the things that attracted me to the VX in the first place.
