For those who carry, where do you stash your pistol?

Anyone use the under the steering wheel mount?

Iv been stashing my Beretta between seat and console in a fabric case.

The door pocket works well also.

Are you working full size or compact in there?

Ill try that tomorrow.

I like the XD series holsters that bolt under the dash.

Ha, who am I kidding? I'm from Mur'lind! They consider car keys a weapon and you are lucky to be able to even carry those. :(

No matter, I'm a rifle guy anyways. Don't have any handguns anymore. HIGHLY unlikely I would tote around an AR over my shoulder, heh.

Still, you folks make me jealous.

My 380 bodyguard fits perfectly in the center console. :)

The wet Okole seat covers with holster are pretty cool. It is designed for right or left hand draw, and would hold any full size frame weapon you would want to put in there. I place my M&P40C and simply disappears from view. Keeps it from getting scratched up or dirty.

Flying, I would like to see a pic. That is what I am thinking.

I just my soft case so I dont scratch it up.

I carry a Beretta M9A1 compact which is still pretty big and heavy for being a compact.

When I carry, it's on the passenger seat in a soft case. I'm not a CCW holder so this option is a legal one and it's handy!

WoW! Another Beretta fan, wahoo! Hubby and I are BIG fans!
I have the 92FS - Compact - Type M...it's a single stack (8 rds) version of your M9. Handle is significantly thinner and leaner.

Being in AZ, there's virtually no rules/restrictions on carry, :bgwo: so we can carry them anywhere. I got this seat holster. It fits a variety of sizes from my Tomcat, Cheetahs, Cougar, 92FS Purple Duracoat :rollo: full size, and the Type M.
It works out pretty good, certainly can get to it a lot faster than under the seat where I was carrying it.

Funny, just used this holster yesterday. Dave had a problem on his dirtbike about 35 miles away, way the H311 out in the boonies (Billy -past the Aqua Fria National Monument, into Tonto N.F.) so I drove his FJ (cuz I don't have a VX :( anymore) to go get him. So here I am a female alone driving DEEP INTO the trail/mountains....passing numerous ATVs/sxs "guys".....hmmmmm.....glad I had my little Italian friend close by, just in case!

I also use a Pelican case cause when we go off on trails around here in the sxs there's so much dust!

I haven't heard of the under the steering wheel style you were talking about...sounds interesting.....have a link?

VX KAT.....AKA Beretta Kat on the Beretta forum!

My first sidearm is a Beretta Elite in 40cal.

I've got it on my waist at all times... if youre ever "forced" to get out of your car... it looks alot like undoing your seatbelt... When I go into work (I work at an airport) I stick it in the door pocket.

Oh yeah, love Berettas, and nearly hate Glocks. I had a full size but sold it for my stainless/Inox compact.

Here is what I was talking about: http://www.amazon.com/Ride-Ready-Car-Holster/dp/B00L8B36LU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1412122066&sr=8-2&keywords=under+steering+wheel+gun+holster

If I carried a concealed weapon, I wouldn't advertise where it is kept, thereby ruining any advantage I had.....just sayin'.

You must also be assuming (incorrectly) that only forum members read our posts....just sayin'. ;)

Thats obvious, and I didnt include that tidbit because the likelihood of a loss from a forum search, creating a looting opportunity is so minimal it wasn't worth the time to type it.

However I have just now had to explain that....just sayin' - jeez

Summary: Not worried about your stated fear. The possibility of that occurring from seeing it here is ridiculously minimal.

Thanks in advance for your understanding?

Don't keep it in there when I'm not driving. It's more comfortable than on my hip when I drive.

I like it. You remember what you paid? I found their online store and I believe it was $70.

I have always thought about making a shotgun mount in there too for hunting season.

Don't Remember, that sounds about right.

Thanks. Its pretty close to the XD series look/style I wanted.

I ride with my steering wheel as low as possible so I dont think the holster down there would be an easy draw.
