View Full Version : Current model year Vehicross

Periodically, I wonder what a current year Vehicross would look like if Isuzu had continued making them. My ole 1999 Ironman still looks way cool. I imagine a 2014 would be outta this world cool.
Would probably include fully automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, all 'round collision avoidance sensors, full-size spare tire stored under the back, integrated GPS navigation, digital display for status of all systems, tire pressures, etc.
Guess I can continue dreamin'.

Dunno, man, to me, it just needs some wider tires and some spacers...

I wonder if they flipped that thing right there at the end when the back tire was leaving the ground....

I wonder if they flipped that thing right there at the end when the back tire was leaving the ground....Had the same thought, but I'd wager it's driver/pilot leveled out before rolling over.
Unlike a DKR driver, my biggest driving challenge is and probably will always be parallel parking. That is unless I get one of those vehicles with parking assist.

this is the Production version, the cool one in the thread's pic isn't available for purchase to regular people. I sent an email asking last time that pic was talked about.

Probably the closest thing that's in production TODAY is the 2-door Range Rover Evoque.
They even did a Dakkar Ralley version...

x2. Agreed; the closest "current production" available today to the VX is in fact the R/R Evoque in its 2-door coupe attire format, and it remains the ONLY coupe available SUV in current production. If I had the extra coinage in my bank account, I would have the coupe version sitting in my driveway; it's truly bad@ss.
