door locks barely working

My door locks barely work. Sometimes they'll go up/down with the clicker and sometimes they don't, also sometimes they'll make it half way. Is there a way to rehab them? If not do I need new lock actuators?

When mine did this I tore the actuator apart. The gears inside are plastic and the teeth break off. I replaced mine. Very easy to do...just be carefull the plastic rod ends. They are brittle and break easily.

Good deal. Where did you source the new gears?

I bought a used one...i bought the whole unit not just the gear.
