I'll be in the pines of Show Low, Az enjoying a nice half ironman and camping in the "cooler" weather (only supposed to be 90) :) Plus I still need to do the bushings on the front end before I tackle any long trips...waiting for it to cool down a bit.

Just noticed the "High line " only in parking lot... ??
Gonna call and see if we qualify!!
I fear they mean EXPENSIVE.
But.. if we can guarantee 3-4 , from OEM to heavily modified maybe they'll accommodate us.
I'll let ya know.

So is the VX considered a "high line" vehicle? What, exactly, constitutes a "high line" vehicle? :_confused
I know the whore is mucho lifted, so she's pretty "high" up in the air giving her great sight "lines".

I fear they mean the usual Ferrari / Rolls / Veyron / lambo crowd... :_brickwal
We'll see what they say when I call them.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see the VehiCross as "Cars and Coffee" material. I regularly attend a cruise night in my area and I would never consider parking the VX in among the muscle cars and exotics. I have taken the VX a couple times, but I parked up on the hill - in the overflow area. I find it irritating when some kids pull up in their stock late model Mustang GTs and Camaros, thinking they are interesting. I seriously doubt many of the attendees came to see an old SUV (as cool and interesting as it is!) Go, and have a good time, but don't deprive the guys with the "high line" cars a prime parking spot.

Well Indeed....
I think you need to sell your VX CobraJet..
..and hand in your "I'm interested in cars" badge :p
I know of several VX owners that have taken their rides to cars & coffee meets..
...and been 'met' with a great reception.
Its not really a "Cruise night" thing.... from what I've seen.
I agree.. Stock late model mustangs etc have no place.
They can be seen on the road all day..every day.
The same cant be said for the VX.
Last time strangers took snaps of mine and asked me about it ...
... it was sitting next to a highly modified vette..which they were ignoring.
In other words..they attract attention, are rare..
....and people always ask questions about them.
Seems to fit cars & coffee premiss to a "tee" .. IMO

I was once a regular at Cars and Coffee Irvine, up until they changed there entrance rules a year and a half ago. I was told by the head organizer that I was welcome as long as I parked in the spectator parking lot. Since the rule change there hasn’t been any VX’s in the Display parking lot. I still go, occasionally I see another VX in the spectator parking lot.
You may run into the same situation. I would have a plan B just in case.

WOW...
Thanks Gene... I had no idea cars & coffee had become so ...
... regulated.
I guess its a function of its popularity and available space.
Hats off to you Cobrajet..seems you nailed it.
Apparently things have changed since I last attended a gathering.
Oddly enough I see more Ferraris,Lambos and Porsches around here..
...than I ever see other VX's.
The Devil in me makes me want to turn up in the ORW caked in Moab mud...
...and see what they say
Might just do it :)

Are you kidding?
When was the last time you asked for permission? DO IT! DO IT!
The worst thing that could happen is you would be redirected, and then that might draw people away from the Golden Circle parking lot to the over flow.
